Acute, seasonal and year-round allergic conjunctivitis
A person allergic to dog hair (or other animal) will feel the harsh conditions after contact with a dog, staying in a room in which he was recently a dog, etc. The symptoms appear suddenly, without treatment pass spontaneously in approximately 24-48 hours after cessation of contact with the allergen . This is an example of acute allergic conjunctivitis.
A person allergic to the pollen of flowers, grasses, weeds or trees will experience unpleasant symptoms during the pollination sensitizing the plant - this is the so-called seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. The symptoms disappear after a period of pollination (cease contact with the allergen).
There are also those persons who have symptoms year-round allergic conjunctivitis, which is most commonly associated with allergy to house dust mites, molds (year-round contact with the allergen in the home for example). This is of the form of multi-, mild, with the result that sometimes the disease remains undiagnosed. Year-round allergic conjunctivitis may exacerbate after intensive contact with the allergen (eg trzepanie carpets, which are a reservoir of mites), after the action of non-irritant (eg, smoke, dry and cold air, fumes of paint, varnish), or after long-term work the computer.
